In keeping with the home show tradition, a raffle will be held to benefit the Kenai Peninsula Builders Association’s scholarship fund. Each year, the KPBA awards thousands of dollars to Kenai Peninsula students who are pursuing building-related careers. In past years, KPBA members have built greenhouses, garden sheds, saunas, gazebos, playhouses and storage sheds, and they’re inviting you to come see – and possibly win! There will also be door prize giveaways every 10 minutes throughout the show. The history of Anchorage is long and storied, especially since in 2015, the city of Anchorage celebrated its 100th year since its founding.
